Indonesia Travel Restriction….


Immigration services for foreign nationals at Immigration Offices are now open. The available services are

1) Change of status of an Immigration Stay Permit Application;

2) New temporary stay permit (ITAS) issuance;

3) Immigration Certificate of Residency (SKIM) issuance;

4) Indonesian dual citizenship & immigration facility application.

All applicants who enter Immigration Offices are required to implement the health protocol. Your Emergency Stay Permit remains valid until further notice from the DGI.

To curb COVID-19 outbreak in the country, the RI Government through the Minister of Law and Human Rights Decree no. 11 (2020) [Informal Translation] on the Temporary Prohibition for Foreign Nationals to enter Indonesia. Effective on April 2, 2020, replacing the Minister of Law & HR Decree no. 7 & 8 2020.


For foreigners in Indonesia whose travel and stay permit is expired and/or cannot be extended will be automatically granted Emergency Stay Permit without submitting a request to Immigration Office. This service is free of charge.
